My name is Martin Scharm. I founded CODE AHOI in the beginning of 2020, as I felt the urge to advance, but was not sure where to go :)
I earned a Master's in Bioinformatics at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and received a PhD in engineering at the University of Rostock. In addition, I have 13 years of experience as a system engineer. I am a scientiest, a developer, and a system engineer — how does that go together!? Very well, actually! I manage to successfully combine these roles: as a scientist I love to experiment with novel technology, that I use to develop exiting products, which I optimise as a system engineer with respect to performance, availability, and security.
I love challenges and I am eager to gain experience in new domains!
And this is how I got here
